Katia Mihailova
communication lecturerKatia Mihailova is an associate professor of Sociology. She teaches Sociology at the University of National and World Economy, Communications and social mediation at the University of Library Studies and IT and Scientific research methodology at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”. Katia Mihailova defended her doctoral dissertation in Journalism in 2006 at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She is a scholarship holder of the Japanese “Sasakawa” Young Leaders Program. Katia Mihailova specialized in Communications at Open University in London in 2003 and at Goldsmiths College in London in 2009. She is the author of the monographs “Medi@ Elections” (2019), “Medi@ Society” (2016), “Television for Children” (2011). Katia Mihailova is the compiler and editor of the collection “Young Science of the Arts” (2010, 2012).
