First demonstration of robotic surgery in real time was made in Pleven
Surgery in real time was demonstrated for the first time in Pleven with the revolutionary system for Robotic Surgery Da Vinci Si. Prof. Grigor Gorchev, a pioneer in establishing of robotic surgery in the country made the surgery. Media representatives had the opportunity to ask Prof. Gorchev questions during the procedure and to learn more about the innovative technology. Professor Slavtcho Tomov, Rector of Medical University - Pleven, presented the guests a project for installation of 3D studio for training in the Telecommunications center.
