M3 Communications Group, Inc. organized the official awards ceremony for Personality in the News 2013, which took place in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Through an independent online vote during December 2013 - February 2014, over 15000 readers of Novinite Media Group voted for Personality in the News 2013 in various categories.
Irina Bokova, Director-general of UNESCO was a special guest on the event, and was awarded Personality in the News in Politics. Ekkehard Neureither, Country Manager of ABB in Bulgaria and Ivaylo Penchev, Founder and CEO of Walltopia shared the prize in Business. Dobri Dobrev, the man who became famous with his noble cause won the prize in Charity. H.E. Takashi Koizumi, Ambassador of Japan in Bulgaria took the prize in Diplomacy, Vesko Eschkenazy, the famous Bulgarian violinist and Concertmaster at Concertgebouworkest won in Culture and Grigor Dimitrov, one of the best tennis players in the world won in Sports.
The awards ceremony was attended by the winners in the categories, representatives of the government and diplomatic missions in Sofia, partners and friends of Novinite Media Group and journalists.
