Sofia's First Bulgarian-Czech Chamber Presentation
February, 2025The first presentation of the Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce brought together for a business breakfast more than 50 representatives of Bulgarian companies developing business relations with the Czech Republic.
The special event was organized by M3 Communications Group, Inc.’s team and was held with the kind cooperation of InterContinental Hotel Sofia.
The event was attended by Martin Danovsky, Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth of Bulgaria, Miroslav Toman, Ambassador, Head of Mission, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria, Jan Jindřich, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria, Mila Nenova, Executive Director, InvestBulgaria Agency, Boyko Takov, Executive Director, Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterpeises Promotion Agency, and Maxim Behar, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce.
Among the main topics discussed during the breakfast were: the expansion of Bulgarian-Czech trade relations and the showcasing of business opportunities in Bulgaria not only on the Czech market, but also on other international markets. The Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce presented its program and future activities and welcomed its individual and corporate members, which, despite the short time since its founding, now exceed 30.
The Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce brings together Bulgarian and Czech companies that already have a successful business or have an interest in doing business in both countries. The Chamber was founded in 2024 by 10 business leaders at an official event at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Sofia. The PR expert Maxim Behar was elected as a Chairman of the Chamber and Georgi Petkov, Chairman of the board of directors of BTL Industries, a leading Bulgarian company with Czech roots, as Deputy Chairman.
