The First Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce Established

Ten business leaders in Bulgaria established the country's first Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce at a special event at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria, attended by Martin Dvořák, Czech Minister for European Affairs, and H.E. Miroslav Toman, Czech Ambassador to Bulgaria.

 

The new organization will be headed by the prominent Bulgarian PR expert Maxim Behar as chairman and Georgi Petkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the leading Czech-rooted company BTL Industries JSC, serving as deputy chairman.

 

Among the Chamber's founders and first members are: Ata-Tandem Ltd., Biofrog CZ Ltd., Ecospot Consulting Ltd., Euratek Ltd., M3 Communications Group, Inc., Peterka & Partners Law firm, Renomia Ltd., Sofia Bul Ltd., Tierra Verde Bulgaria Ltd., and Georgi Petkov as an individual member.

 

Maxim Behar, Chairman of the Chamber, shared: "I am confident that the Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce will become a key player in developing business relations between our two countries. We will work actively to strengthen economic ties and create a favorable investment environment. I believe that together we can achieve significant success and open new opportunities for business in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic."

 

H.E. Miroslav Toman, Czech Ambassador to Bulgaria, commented: "This is a major event for Bulgarian-Czech relations, which will undoubtedly contribute to even better cooperation between our two countries. I would like to thank everyone involved in this initiative, especially Mr. Maxim Behar, who is the primary initiator. My team at the embassy and I will fully support you in this endeavor."

 

The Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce unites Bulgarian and Czech companies with successful business records or an interest in expanding in both countries. The Chamber's ambitious goals include facilitating business relations between the two countries, supporting Czech companies interested in investing in Bulgaria, and assisting Bulgarian companies interested in entering the Czech market. The organization will act as a bridge between businesses and the governments of both countries, striving to create a more favorable business environment and open up new opportunities for cooperation.

 

Key activities of the Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce include:
