Maxim Behar, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria, received a prestigious award in recognition of his longstanding contributions to promoting the island nation and developing diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Seychelles.

he President of Seychelles, H.E. Wavel Ramkalawan, personally presented the award to Behar during the official opening of the Conference of Honorary Consuls at the Savoy Hotel in the capital city of Victoria. The event was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Seychelles, Sylvestre Radegonde, Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Roger Mancienne, the entire government, diplomats, and business representatives. 

Maxim Behar has served as the Honorary Consul General of Seychelles in Bulgaria for over 20 years, during which he has initiated dozens of projects that have contributed to the growing global popularity of the island nation. He is also the founder of the Seychelles Investment Forum, the Seychelles Press Agency, and many other pioneering initiatives. 

"Working for the benefit of this beautiful country for over 20 years is a tremendous honor and responsibility for me. I look forward to continued joint efforts to advance Seychelles' diplomatic relations and will keep promoting it as a dream tourist destination," Maxim Behar said.
