The First in Bulgaria Hyundai E&C Nuclear Power Roadshow 2024

Our team at M3 Communications Group, Inc. was pleased to support Hyundai Engineering & Construction in organizing its first event in Bulgaria: Hyundai E&C Nuclear Power Roadshow 2024. It was held over two days at the Hilton Sofia as part of the company's overall strategy to successfully secure the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant construction project in Bulgaria
During the roadshow, Mr. YOON Young Joon, President of Hyundai E&C, met with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev at the presidential palace and held meetings with Boyko Borissov, leader of GERB (the first party), and Delyan Peevski, leader of MRF (the second party), reinforcing the company’s commitment to the Kozloduy NPP project.
The first day started with business meetings held before the main event, where the company expressed its commitment to the successful execution of the Kozloduy project and discussed cooperation strategies with Bulgarian Minister of Energy Vladimír Malinov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Energy Committee Delyan Dobrev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Environment Committee Stanislav Anastasov, and Petyo Ivanov Executive Director of the Kozloduy NPP NB.
As part of the event, a highly successful business conference was held, attended by nearly 300 people, including key representatives of the Bulgarian government, diplomatic representatives from both countries, business representatives of the local nuclear and construction industry, research institutions and journalists.
Hyundai E&C also signed MOUs with the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and local general construction company GBS (Glavbolgarstroy).
The second day of the roadshow was dedicated to one-on-one meetings and B2B consultations between Hyundai E&C and local companies, academic institutions and media representatives. These meetings not only supported strategic partnerships and technical exchanges, but also strengthened ties between Hyundai E&C and the Bulgarian business community.
Over 120 local companies, academic representatives, and students visited the B2B meetings and recruitment consultation booths during the two-day event.
