University Hospital „St. Marina“ – Pleven celebrates 20 years of innovation in medicine

M3 Communications Group, Inc. organized the special event to celebrate the anniversary of University Hospital „St. Marina“, presenting its rich history and achievements, as well as the latest medical services of new generation – the surgical robot „Da Vinci“. This is another unique innovation in the medical institution, which strengthens its position as the most high-tech hospital in the country and the only one with two robotic surgical systems.

The event was opened by Acad. Grigor Gortchev, MD, PhD, the founder of the University Hospital "St. Marina" – Pleven, and the press conference was attended by several of the most prominent medical specialists of the hospital. Its unique history and development plans were presented by the specialists Prof. Slavcho Tomov, MD, PhD, Director of the Research Institute at the Medical University – Pleven; Prof. Dobromir Dimitrov, MD, PhD, Rector of the Medical University - Pleven; Assoc. Prof. Ivan Malkodanski, MD, PhD, Deputy Manager for Medical Activities at the University Hospital „St. Marina“– Pleven; and Zornitsa Gorcheva, PhD, Deputy Manager for Research at the University Hospital „St. Marina“– Pleven.

The guests at the event also had the unique opportunity to visit the advanced operating rooms of the hospital. The tour showed the modern surgical techniques and high-tech equipment, including the latest generation Da Vinci robotic surgery system, used by the highly qualified teams at St. Marina Hospital - Pleven.
