L’Oreal-UNESCO’s Female Oscars in Science Awarded for the 9th time in Bulgaria

There are many award ceremonies in the world, but one definitely stands out when it comes to beauty and talent, 2in1, and these are L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards. The prestigious recognitions were given for the 9th time in a row in Bulgaria to award the great potential and bold scientific ideas of young Bulgarian women in science.
The official ceremony was held at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in November 2019, with the special participation of Mrs. Iliyana Yotova, Vice President of Bulgaria. #M3DreamTeam had the pleasure to organize the event and the whole application and promotion process for the 9th consecutive year. A task, which some may think of challenging, but we find it rather empowering.
The For Women in Sciencerecognition are among the most anticipated science awards in Bulgaria, which are awarded each year by L'Oréal and UNESCO to young women scientists. The prizes are aimed to support their research career and to motivate them to unleash their full potential for scientific breakthroughs. The three winners this year were recognized for their innovative scientific projects with a prize of 5000 euros each, as each of the projects stands out with its high potential for applicability.
