The Beautiful Face of Science!

The gorgeous Magdalena Baymakova, Mira Bivas and Miroslava Nedyalkova are this year’s winners of the L’Oreal-UNESCO’s For Women in Science awards in Bulgaria! They received the recognition for their innovative scientific ideas in the fields of medicine, mathematics and chemistry at an official ceremony in Sofia University, organized by M3 Communications Group, Inc.’s team for 8th year in a row!
Vice President Iliyana Yotova was honorary guest of the event, which was also supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Culture, Sofia Municipality, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the entire scientific community in the country.
The For Women in Science programme and award ceremony are held annually in Bulgaria in partnership between L’Oreal Bulgaria, Sofia University "St. Kl. Ohridski" and the National Commission for UNESCO – Bulgaria. The programme is global and aims to support and encourage women scientist in almost 120 countries who through their work aim to change the world for the better.
