Yordanka Fandakova, H.E. Roland Hauser and Vesela Ilieva Were Awarded Personalities in the News 2016

Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, the Austrian ambassador to Bulgaria H.E. Roland Hauser and the business lady Vesela Ilieva were awarded Personalities in the News 2016 in the categories – Politics, Diplomacy and Business. The winners were determined by online voting in the biggest Bulgarian English-language media Novinite.com.
„Thank you for the award. I accept it as an award for Sofia, for the success of our city, for all our efforts to modernize it“, Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova shared.
The official award ceremony was professionally organized by the PR and events managers of M3 Communications Group, Inc. The event was held in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” yesterday. Popular diplomats and businessmen, as well as media representatives, attended the prestigious ceremony.
In recent years the „Personalities in the News“ awards were given to the most famous Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, to the former Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, to the Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, to the former Ambassador of France in Bulgaria H.E. Xavier Laper de Kaban, to the former British ambassador to Bulgaria H.E Jonathan Allen and many more.
