Total E&P Bulgaria Supported A Renovation Project in Mining and Geology University Worth EUR 75,000

The students of The Mining and Geology University in Sofia now have two fully renovated academic rooms - one of them equipped with computers and software for geostatistics. The donation by Total E&P Bulgaria and its partners in Han Asparuh Exploration project OMV and Repsol is worth EUR 75,000.

The official ribbon cutting of the renovated facilities was held today at the University. During the event Total was granted „Contributor of 2016“ recognition because of the huge impact on improving the students’ learning environment and giving them more opportunities for practical training.

The donation event was attended by Prof. PhD Lyuben Totev, Rector of University of Mining and Geology, Deputy Rector for Research Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pavel Pavlov, other respected professors and students. Total and its partners stay committed to continuing their partnership with Mining and Geology University as a part of their efforts to provide training opportunities for Bulgarian specialists.
