For Women in Science 2016

For a 6th consecutive year M3 Communications Group, Inc. was a coordinator and advisory partner of the most influential program supporting the development of talented women occupied with the art of science – L'Oreal and UNESCO fellowship program “For Women in Science”. Three beautiful young women were chosen and greeted to receive awards of EUR 5,000 each for their unique and valuable scientific projects.

At a stylish ceremony at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” Dr. Ahinora Baltakova, Dr. Yordanka Karakirova and Dr. Kalina Nikolova-Ganeva were greeted by congratulatory address of Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science, Milena Damyanova - Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science, Todor Chobanov - Deputy Mayor of Sofia, Maya Manolova, Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, prof. Nikolay Vitanov - Vice Rector of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and Eric Lebedel, Ambassador of France to Bulgaria.

The event was attended by plenty of official guests, representatives of the scientific community and media. The ladies from the sting vocal group “The Quartet” also expressed their support for the cause of “For Women in Science” and made a special musical salute to the outstanding women scientists.
